This is Erin. Get used to her, she'll be blogging too! We met in Milan on our study abroad program and have been besties ever since. She recently moved to NYC, got a job in wholesale and loves fashion as much as I do; so what better idea than to join forces and make this blog even better!

Mr. Obama meet Mrs. Wintour
Greenwich village is closing some of its major streets preparing for the President's arrival at Anna's townhouse on Sullivan street - talk about table etiquette! Mrs. Wintour is hosting the dinner to raise money for the National Democratic Committee and attendees will include Calvin Klein and Donna Karen. With seats costing upwards of $30,000 that better be a damn good meal. Police are setting up barricades throughout the day and trucks full of supplies including extra AC units and boxes of white flowers were being delivered to the townhouse this AM. I would love to be a fly on the wall for this one; with two of the most powerful and influential people at the same table there is bound to be some serious/interesting conversations.

Double or nothin
If you know me, then you know of my love for jewelry, especially double or triple finger rings. As I was doing my daily browse of The Cut I found some jewelry that I not only want but want to share with you. Check out this link to see these amazing rings from a group of designers that I'm now obsessed with.

Manhattan meets the BK
So today we ventured to Brooklyn for a cancer benefit. Upon arrival in the 100' weather we find that there is no AC in the art gallery (The Eastern District Gallery) that is hosting the event and that they "weren't prepared enough to stock up on water" although you get a free beer with the suggested donation. After browsing the art work we took a breather and stumbled upon Matt Torrey's bar on Bushwick avenue - made us feel more at home aka back in manhattan with its chic layout and dark wood floors and bar. We're heading back to the gallery in a bit for some awesome music - check out Soft Black - and to help out the St. Baldrick's children's cancer research program. Just wanted to share our BK adventure with you! As hipster as we attempted to look, we still stand out like a sore thumb. Sorry BK but you aren't very welcoming.

Can't. Get. Over. It.
J.Crew kids catalog seriously could not be any more adorable. I think I'm obsessed with kids clothes because I never dressed like that when I was that age! I mixed and matched pink plaid shorts and a tee shirt...which has the potential to be cute - but believe me - it was not. Does someone want to loan me their child so I can dress them like this?

UK's ASA not so humorous
Diesel's "Be Stupid" campaigns are funny, genius and give the advertising world something fresh and new but apparently the UK's Advertising Standard Authority thinks otherwise. They have banned this (and another of girls flashing security cameras) saying that they are 'antisocial' and 'indecent' - really?! Really?! All this time I thought the UK was more open to these types of campaigns than the US, but apparently I thought wrong.
