ZOETWITT

The last Bryant Park Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week doesn't officially kick off until Thursday, but today I went to my first preview of the week, ZOETWITT. The designer, Zoe Twitt, hails from Australia and this is her very first complete collection — she started with a line of comfy basics. The "dark heart" collection is very playful, with zippers running through chunky knits and down the legs of leather pants, while each sheer, lace and velvet piece held its own against the next. Everything was very versatile but could easily be layered with its neighboring garment. Twitt also played around with accessories, pairing chunky crystals and an arrangement of chains on cuffs, bracelets and necklaces. Each piece in the collection is limited edition and made by hand in New York City.

The Final Verdict: I'm hooked and excited to incorporate ZOETWITT into an upcoming editorial.
